Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, His Excellency the Minister of Municipal, Rural Affairs, and Housing, began today to the city of Rabat on an official visit during which he will meet with a number of senior officials in the Moroccan government, which will last 3 days during the period from 28-30 November, in order to strengthen bilateral relations and review the successful experiences between the Kingdom. Morocco in a number of areas related to city infrastructure, real estate development, and promoting sustainable urban development.
At the beginning of the visit, Al-Hogail met with Her Excellency the Minister of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development, Ms. Leila Benali, in the presence of His Excellency the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Rabat, Mr. Abdullah bin Saad Al-Ghurairi, where Al-Hogail praised the depth of the historical relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom of Morocco as two brotherly countries, expressing his aspiration to strengthen cooperation. Joint work and exchange of expertise and successful experiences between the two countries in the municipality and housing sectors and their related fields.
During the meeting, His Excellency reviewed the developments in various sectors in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Especially in the areas of infrastructure, housing, and real estate development in light of the government programs and initiatives supervised by the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing to achieve the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, and the great support that the municipal and residential sectors receive from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince - may God protect them -; And their keenness to provide adequate housing for citizens and the highest standards of quality of life for residents and visitors in various regions of the Kingdom.
During the visit, His Excellency also met with His Excellency the Minister of Equipment and Water, Nizar Baraka, where the meeting reviewed ways to enhance cooperation and exchange experiences in the field of city infrastructure.
It is noteworthy that the visit of His Excellency the Minister of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing to the Kingdom of Morocco will continue until Thursday, during which he will meet with a number of government officials, heads of companies, and Moroccan businessmen, in order to learn about Moroccan experiences in a number of fields, and to review the promising investment opportunities that the Kingdom embraces in an attractive quality environment.
