The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority called on establishments subject to withholding tax in the Kingdom to submit their tax returns for November, no later than December 10.
The Authority urged establishments to quickly submit their tax returns through its website (zatca.gov.sa) to avoid a fine for late payment within the specified period, at 1% of the unpaid tax for every thirty days of delay from the due date.
The Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority called on taxpayers from the business sector wishing to obtain more information regarding the withholding tax to contact it on the unified call center number (19993), which operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, or the “Ask Zakat, Tax and Customs” account. On the (X) platform (@Zatca_Care), by email ([email protected]), or through instant chats via the website (zatca.gov.sa).
Withholding tax is imposed on all amounts paid from a source in the Kingdom to non-resident entities in the Kingdom, by the rates specified in Article Sixty-Eight of the Income Tax Law and Article Sixty-Three of its Executive Regulations.
